Next session for 2020. 20th February at Point Danger.
10am – Noon
THIS SESSION WILL BE ABOUT SHUTTER SPEED
We’ll be social distancing where we can. Conversations looking at menus on a camera will require some standing near each other. We will also be touching cameras and handing them around (unless you say ‘no!’) 🙂 Masks are not necessary (we’re outdoors) but if you want to wear one, please do. If you have had sniffles, a cough, a cold, a temperature, loss of smell, please get yourself tested and don’t come this time round. We will be asking people to register their names and phone numbers.
Visit our Facebook page to let us know you’re coming.
We’ll be running more sessions as the weather improves and the days get longer. We meet at Point Danger, Torquay and sessions are a couple of hours between 10 and midday.
This session will be largely a ‘Beginner’ session designed around your specific questions and equipment. Bring everything!
In future, these sessions will cover topics such as:
- The Exposure Triangle
- Shutter speed
- ISO – Sensor sensitivity
- Your camera’s settings
- Different camera formats
- Stability techniques – avoid camera blur
- Sunrise and sunset pictures
- Aspect Ratio
- Crop Factor
